Reviews
Food was amazing and the service was great... Nice atmosphere...Full plates and Irish classics are 1/2 price on a couple days during the week .. Great night... The short ribs are my fave.... Definitely going back
I have been here many times for drinks but finally decided to try it for dinner and it was a pleasant surprise! The menu has tons of choices, both Irish and American cuisine. Lots of appetizers, which is great for sharing with a big group. The drinks are always good too! We enjoyed a flatbread, steak tidbits, duck breast and dessert. It's a nice sized space with pleasant service!
Had a few meals from this place now. Food is always good. Busy at times and bustling, but service is great. I ordered a Caprese Chicken sandwich and ended up finding a Crispy Chicken sandwich when I got home. The manager got on the phone and made it right with an apology. I'll be back, the food and service is too good not to.
Went for the first time on NYE. Great location. Place has charm, nicely decorated for the holidays. Late night buffet dinner was very good. Staff was friendly enough for a busy night. I didn’t see anyone cleaning. There were a lot of spilled drinks as expected and the floor was sticky and gross at one point. DJ was ok, he was playing good stuff but there wasn’t much of a countdown, just randomly started counting down and luckily I heard him so I was ready. I would go back for the actual restaurant experience too.
Had my pandemic wedding reception here. We go back every once in a while for dinner. The only problem with going here is that all of the food is amazing, so it takes my wife forever to choose what she wants to eat.
We came here for brunch and then again for dinner. The potato soup is my favorite. It's so good. The brunch was absolutely delicious. I got a broccoli and cheese omelette and it was huge! It was cooked very nicely; not overcooked or runny. Delicious. I come here at least once every time I visit the island. Great food and great service. The only reason I gave it 4/5 stars is because it gets very very loud. We had to shout across the table to hear one another. Other than that, it's a great place!
Tonight was our first visit to Lily’s of Babylon. Our service was fantastic. We started with Alanna(?) and she was great. When her shift ended we were handed over to Mark , who was very good but not as good as Alanna. Our complaint is we could NOT taste any alcohol in our drinks at all. I was charged $13 per drink because I asked for the drink in a pint glass and therefore I was charged for a double shot. Sorry, no alcohol. I know what a double tastes like. My wife had two short drinks, then a pint and also couldn’t taste any alcohol. That is our only complaint. The music of the J Haus band was fantastic.
Must have been bad night for Lily. Been there many times and July very good.
Well, Sunday night, 6:00 very slow . Waitresses were huddled-and talking.they were interrupted by someone in charge, turned and apologized.
The order was uneventful and have had it many times.
The fish and chips was not edible …fish was probably sitting all day, fries were frozen and dried out ( wrinkled ) all laying on bits of water cress and shredded red cabbage. Inedible.
Took it hand and through it out! The “chef” brought our dinner out carrying it almost over his head.
Such a disappointing time after a wonder concert in Bay Shore.
Service and food were terribly disappointing for a very expensive dinner. ( 1 drink each , no appetizers, no dessert!
